WestCity Kitchen

Formerly known as West City Sardine Kitchen (their logo has three fish, presumably sardines), this gastro pub is just 5 minutes walk from us, and has a warm urban neighborhood feel with a tight menu focusing on pastas and seafood.  I could see becoming a barfly here.  We ordered the sardine bruschetta, roasted brussel sprouts, and blackened salmon pasta.  Together with a bottle of Italian table wine and tip, the bill came to $80.

The pasta was fresh and light - surprising for any restaurant these days. Everything was delicious, the ambiance warm, good crowd.  Friendly staff.

Happy hour would be nice.  Opens at 5.
